Fortunately their competition was another light-hearted affair, this time over fourteen holes, with competitors receiving double points on odd or even holes according to their pre-selected choice. The format is clearly one that suits Rita Searles who, having won the Silver Division in the same event a year ago, repeated the feat with an excellent 39 points to pip Gilly Ewers by one and Mina Burton by two.
