As reported by www.hastingsunitedfc.co.uk, it has now been confirmed that Medlock has suffered a rupture of his anterior talofibular ligament.
The ligament needs reconstructing as a consequence, but an operation cannot be undertaken yet due to the excessive swelling and tenderness of his foot.

Medlock sustained the injury during United’s 4-2 win at home to Molesey on Saturday April 9, a match in which he had scored twice.
The 24-year-old netted 28 goals in 40 appearances for the U’s after signing for the club in September - the highest by any Hastings player in a season since Terry White in 1999/2000.
His tally includes a five-goal blast against Peacehaven & Telscombe on Easter Monday when he became only the second Hastings player to score five goals in a game since the 1960s.
