UPDATE: Rail disruption after fatality on the line
The incident happened at Horsham Road, Crawley, and disruption is likely to continue to at least noon today.
There are likely to be delays and alterations to various services.

Hide AdA British Transport Police (BTP) spokesman said: “Our officers were called to Horsham Road level crossing, Crawley, shortly before 10am, on Friday, 5 September, after a report a person had been struck by a train.
“Colleagues from Sussex Police, South East Coast Ambulance Service and West Sussex Fire & Rescue Service also attended, and a man was pronounced dead at the scene.
“Officers are now working to identify the man and inform his family.
“The incident is not being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner.”
