PICTURES: Two rescued in Sussex plane crash
According to West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service, they were called at just before 11.10am with reports that a plane had crashed at Shoreham Airport.
They attended the scene along with the ambulance service and the airport’s fire service team.

Hide AdA Shoreham Airport spokesperson said: “We can confirm that there was an incident this morning involving a Piper Cub light aircraft.
“The airport’s fire service team was dispatched immediately and recovered the passengers safely.
“We’re pleased to report that no-one was injured, and the aircraft is being recovered for investigation.”
It is unclear at this point whether the plane crashed while taking off or landing.
