Eastbourne Police conducted a ‘high visibility patrol’ at a local mosque on Sunday, April 22.

Police had conducted the patrol to ‘ensure that the area and the members of the community felt safe.’

In a statement on April 22, Eastbourne Police said: “Police have attended the area of Eastbourne Mosque this afternoon to conduct some high visibility patrols. This is to ensure that the area and members of the community feel safe.

“Police conduct patrols throughout Eastbourne on a regular basis.”
