Memorial made special by many
We would also extend our grateful thanks to Ferring Nurseries.
Unable to do much work on the road triangle where the memorial has been placed, due to the state of the ground after the recent appalling weather conditions, Ferring Nurseries, on their own initiative, placed potted shrubs to the rear of the memorial, and then surrounded the base with potted red, white, and blue pansies.

Hide AdIt looked really lovely for the close relatives of the pilot and navigator's families, who had travelled from all over the country to
attend the ceremony of dedication and the unveiling.
I hasten to add there was no charge for their wonderful, thoughtful action on this occasion.
