LETTER: UKIP’s fixation with the past

I get back from a holiday in Northern France and have just read a recent edition.

Here we are still banging on about ‘Hal’. His intensions were doubtful and frankly he had got himself in a mess. There can be no better example of UKIP fixation with the past and the party’s lack of vision than Bob Lomas letter in the WSCT when he refers to Henry V victory at Agincourt.

I fear we may have to wait a long time before UKIP catches up 700 years and joins the rest of us in the real world of the 21st century globalised interdependent economic reality.
