Farlington’s Young Enterprise winners
The programme was tough: setting up a stall at 1pm, being grilled by the judges asking difficult accounts questions about their Final Business Report until 3pm, and then delivering a timed pitch of only four minutes to a panel of four judges in front of an audience including leading dignitaries of the Gatwick Diamond and the Mayor.
Ellie Burnell-Price, Jess Clarke, Eleanor Bell and Katie Wycliffe performed superbly, presenting a seamless business pitch whilst injecting their own humour in the short time period. This impressed the judges as they won: Best Business Pitch, Best Business Report and Final Accounts, and, finally, the big prize – Best Company for the Area 2014.

The other members of the team - Holly Williams, Natalie Fung, Skye Garbi-Chapman, Isabella Zanin, Isabelle Mills, Mae Fuller and Ellie Greer - have all put in a superb effort to make their seasonal hamper company succeed.
“It has been a team effort and they have worked very well together – and it is not over yet! The girls now go forward to the Regional Finals in East Grinstead in May.”
