Hide AdA service of Holy Matrimony in church should remain the preserve of men to women only, but having already abandoned so much tradition, the Church of England will probably capitulate soon and, if for no other reason, introduce ‘gay’ marriage because it will not want to miss out on the lucrative business of weddings.
When enough threads have been lost from the vestment, the garment will no longer be fit for purpose.
