Horsham’s inaugural ‘parkrun’ attracts hundreds of runners
The free timed 5k runs take place in various parks across the world and Horsham’s first-ever run saw 365 athletes turn out at the weekend.
Horsham Jogger Neil Boniface led the runners home in 15min-49 second to win the maiden race, while Amicia Lee was the first female to complete the course in 22-45.

Hide AdCounty councillor Morwen Millson got the runners under way on the winding course around the park’s pathways amongst morning park-goers.
More than 33,000 events involving upwards of 533,000 people have currently taken place across the UK.
The event in Horsham Park will now take place every Saturday as 9am.
