Eco-friendly properties to show

After two years, the Lewes Eco Open Houses trail is returning to showcase environmentally-friendly builds and renovations in the area, inspire visitors and to promote ‘green’ living.
It will take place across the weekends of October 15 and 16, 22 and 23.

Hide AdAmong the properties, seven of which are new to the trail, is the bed and breakfast Skyhouse, and the community cinema and restaurant the Depot, which is being built on the former depot site of Harveys Brewery, on Pinwell Road.
Entry to each property is free, although contributions are welcome.
Most sites, two of which are based in Plumpton, will be open on a drop-in basis from 1pm to 5pm, although some require pre-booking.
