Dinosaur skeleton sold in Billingshurst to go on public view
Although the buyer has asked to stay anonymous for the time being, Summers Place Auctions has confirmed that the 55ft long skeleton will be available to the public in the future.
The auction house also confirmed that the Diplodocus Longus skeleton was sold for £483,100, after initial reports suggested the figure was £400,000.

Hide AdErrol Fuller is a natural history expert and author, and curated the ‘Evolution’ sale that the skeleton was a part of.
He said: “We have had interest from both museums and private buyers and it is good to see that there is renewed interest in fascinating objects which help us understand how our world has evolved.”
