An arson attack at an alpaca farm in Rogate resulted in the destruction of an animal shelter, police have said.

Thankfully, all of the alpacas were able to escape unharmed after the fire off the A272 in Rogate, near Petersfield.

In a witness appeal today (Tuesday, December 22), a spokesperson for Sussex Police said: "The incident started in a storage area to the rear of one of the animal shelters, which was destroyed, between 7.45pm and 8.15pm on Monday, December 7.
