Breaking news: Armed Burgess Hill man in police stand off

Police have closed off West Park Crescent in Burgess Hill after reports a man is armed with a knife.

A spokesman for Sussex Police said: “Police and bailiffs are continuing to talk to a man who is refusing to leave a house in West Park Crescent, Burgess Hill.

“Bailiffs arrived to serve a High Court order for eviction shortly after 8am on Tuesday morning (November 24).
